      Kam Dovedi is a highly respected UK Leading Property Expert who has been investing for over 29 Years. Having survived and thrived in 3 of the UK's Largest Recessions, Kam is highly acclaimed for how he is able to find the adapt to and predict what is going to happen next in the Property Market and how to profit from the challenges and opportunities that arise.

      He has implemented and still does implement a variety of property investing strategies successfully, such as: buy to lets, HMOs, Permitted Developments, New Builds, Commercial Conversions, Title Splits & Serviced Accommodation. 

      Kam does now have a Significant Multi-Million Pound Property Portfolio, but it wasn't always like that (that's a story for another day).

      He's passionate about property, and how it can change peoples lives for the better, which is why he believes in sharing proven information with you, that you can actually use to move forward. 
      Marie Parris has been investing in property since the 90's and began building her own property portfolio while working full time. Coming from a family of landlords, Marie developed a dislike for sub-standard letting and management agents after six years and decided to take matters into her own hands. Since around 2004, an event management company approached Marie to speak at a property investment event. Over time, the company expanded into other areas such as lettings and management, and they now handle everything in-house.

      Despite managing various sectors within the business, Marie continues to self-let and manage her own portfolio in her spare time. Since March 2005, she has been an accredited landlord (LLAS) under the London Landlord Accreditation Scheme and is a member of various landlord associations. Marie is highly confident in the range of services provided by George Ellis Property Services to their diverse client base, allowing clients to choose and customize services according to their preferences.
      David joined JMW in April 2020 in the Commercial Litigation Department. David specialises in residential property rights and agency and has experience of a wide range of property litigation. He is particularly well known for his work in: Agent terms of business and other contracts; Tenancy agreements and licences; Consumer protection and rights; Agent regulation including Client Money Protection, data protection and anti-money laundering; Landlord regulation including deposit protection and property licensing; Welsh law; Public affairs and political representation; Mediation representation.
      David has written or contributed to a number of books and journal articles on these topics and is highly sought after as a speaker and lecturer.

      David also has substantial expertise in regulatory matters, particularly as they relate to property issues although he has advised on regulation in other areas as well. He has substantial expertise in advising on Anti-Money Laundering practice and procedure and the boundaries of FCA regulation as it relates to lending secured on property. David also has significant expertise in advising on the GDPR and its application in the UK and Europe. He has provided advice and training on this topic and has written a well-received book.

      ​​​David originally did a degree and doctorate in International Relations at the University of Wales before training as a solicitor at the College of Law. He did his training contract at PainSmith Solicitors in Hampshire before joining Anthony Gold Solicitors on qualification and rapidly rising to partnership.​​​​​​
      Qualified Adjudicator (ACIArb), CEDR Accredited Mediator and has a Professional Award in Ombudsman and Complaints Handling Practice (Queen Margaret University and Ombudsman Association). Following a long career in the insurance industry, Sean set up and ran the dispute resolution and adjudication service for an authorised tenancy deposit scheme before moving and setting up the ombudsman office at the Property Redress Scheme. A Government approved scheme, backed by legislation, the Property Redress Scheme is one of only two organisations that property agents must join to deal with their unresolved complaints.

      Sean is involved with many bodies and forums and is frequently consulted on future changes and reforms in the sector by Government and the industry. He has written numerous articles and blogs on the property sector, appears regularly on podcasts, webinars and at live events, as well as television and radio.

      The Property Redress Scheme is a consumer redress scheme authorised by the Department for Communities and Local Government (DCLG) and by the National Trading Standards Estate Agency Team to offer redress to consumers of lettings, property management and estate agents. It is also open to other property professionals to show they are committed to providing excellent customer service.
